Thank you very much for the instructions. My Xperia 1 II (XQ-AT52) stopped phone call function after Vodafone Australia shutdown 3G network (only sms and 4G data left). Bought a new phone and decided to turn my Xperia 1 II into a spare phone. I did run into a problem of installing Google USB driver on Windows 11 but solved it by installing Android Studio. After that, I didn't have any challenge to flash my Xperia 1 II into UK + SEA as in the video. Now my Xperia 1 II can make VolTE calls on Vodafone network again. I think the flashed phone has dual sim even though the base is single sim XQ-AT51 because I can see SIMs in settings. I am yet to insert two sims into the phone for a confirmation.

@siwulf7539 I didn't have extensive experience of the flashed phone. I did a few calls to confirm it works only. Before I flashed the xperia 1 II, I had already bought s24+. I only wanted the xperia 1 II as a backup phone because all Australia 3g networks should be retired in 2024 nation wide. I don't think flashed phone could change radio reception because it is similar to someone from South East Asia visiting Australia with Xperia 1 II. Previously it was sourced from Hong Kong. Same hardware with software configuration for different regions of the world only.

The only global ROM for Xperia 10 IV is dual sim, is it safe to flash it while my phone is single sim?

Try it. Usually nothing gonna break. sometimes NFC and/or fingerprint may not work on that ROM. If you copy the MODEM and OEM files there is no different in single and dual sim versions.
