This is BY FAR the best aviation channel on KZbin. Josh, your content is full of excitement, inspiration, education, and heart. The production value is absolutely exceptional. I live (and fly) vicariously through every single video you produce. Thank you for inspiring all of us and for sharing the beauty of Aviation with us all.

I graduated high school last year, and I took a gap year to try to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I have been on the fence the whole time. But I always come back to aviation, it is always something that makes me happy every time I go flying. I just need to be convinced that this is what I want to do, your videos are definitely helping me with that.

GREAT work, you two. That sounded crazy. I've never heard such busy air traffic before, and you both managed it very well. All business and good ADM on the way in, through the landing, despite a wicked crosswind AND a chair back, of all things, giving way just before touchdown. Ooof! Still kept it cool and in control. Very very nice! 👏👏👏 Hope to see y'all at Osh one of these years. Keep up the great work!

Josh, I've been in the same flying club in Chicago for 51 years and used to fly to Oshkosh. I quit flying there when I was cut off turning base to final in a '68 Mooney. We followed the Fisk Transition from Ripon in trail with some slow planes. As we turned final to 27 another Mooney flashed across our nose. He apparently thought that it was just fine to fly a long final across the lake without bothering to read or follow any procedures. It was probably the closest near miss that I've ever had. As much as I would like to fly to the show again, I just don't trust the people around me to play by the rules. You guys did a great job and I learn something from each of your videos. Thanks for doing what you do and keep looking out the window.

Our Comanche's #3 exhaust valve decided to check out on startup out of Memphis so we drove. Rode out that storm in a friends RV, so glad I wasn't in a tent or the plane. Watched arrivals on 27 the day you arrived and we sadly did see the birddog off the runway. I have the same issues with our front seatbacks in the Comanche and despite all new hardware, adjustments being correct and lots of teeth nashing they keep doing it so we just secured the seatbacks in the upright position. Great video look forward to the next one.

The video, whether intentionally or not, really captured that startle factor immediately when your chair failed in the flare. At first I thought that the gusty winds, or a bounced landing, had caused Josh to jump, but then the next clip of the landing showed no bounce, so I was confused until you explained the mechanical failure

I was monitoring the arrivals on Flightradar24 and listening to ATC on that day. It was pretty brutal. The ATCs were not shy about calling out tail numbers and sending them back to the back of the line if they were flying too close or cutting in line.

Great vid! Similar story way back when I was still a student. Had the seat lock let go and the seat went full aft on the rails right after takeoff. I was lucky not to stall and did make it down in one piece. I think about 6 months after that an AD came out on it.

Awesome video. I arrived the same day (Sunday) and got held up in the Portage hold for 30 mins due to the runway incidents. We ended up landing 36L around 7:45pm right before the airport closed for arrivals. The winds had died down a lot by this point so didn't have that much of a cross wind. 👍

Josh, thanks for the realism of the FISK arrival. Had the pleasure in a Cessna 206 and of course numerous planes cutting us off. Safe arrival on this is so stressful.
