Check out 08:56, when David increases RPMs for run up - almost any airplane, you'll see some vibrations coming through the plane, to the camera. Look at this - no vibration whatsoever, and listen how smooth the engine increases RPMs. I tell you, that plane is *better* than new, it's so well cared for!

Great eye....The engine is md time but it is a first run Engine and the good folks at Gami re-tuned and re-timed the mags and indeed she runs incredibly smooth ..."knonk on wood" ...lol

What is so great with all these owners and David in particular, is you can just see their passion. Also, this really shows how incredible even the "older" aircraft are. These planes last for a lifetime and then some if an owner like David is around that takes great care of them. Thanks for the video!

At 9:00 time mark I'm so glad you did the mag check the way you did. Many pilots do it the other way with "one click-both-two clicks-both". I've seen many a pilot about to take off on one mag. Your way makes it much less likely to do that because there is only one click to go back to both. Beautiful airplane. BTW, my buddy's 1964 Mooney M20-C also won the award for "best in its class" at Oshkosh about 15 years ago. The plane is getting new skin and a paint job as I write this. Good luck with your outstanding airplane.

It’s a Head Turner wherever I go😊. Has an E-225 engine and a hydraulic prop. No tip tanks-60 gallons. Did panel upgrade with Aspen 1000 and Avidyne IFD 550. Kept engine cluster and polished piano keys. I call it nevou retro😉

1st time at this channel from sailing doodles. It is neat to hear about familiar places. Dallas suburb where the plane lives. S. Springs country town E. of Dallas at 70 miles. I lived around D/FW most of my life and now live 26 miles from S. Springs. Usually there twice a week. Despite Texas being so big and 2nd largest pop. of the States not enough Ytube channels based out of there (here) so this is special. Red Barn is not bad for lunch. Locals introduced me to it. Farmers and Ranchers.

Useful load comes with enough engine power and decreased bending moment at the wing root. Without fuel the load in the cabin creates the biggest bending moment. If you have fuel outside of the gears, less bending moment at the wing root, thus increasing the useful load.

@@davidnazem7030 Oh wow. The D model that I flew was in Denton, Tx at the time. It was 2186D. The owner at the time was John Brown, who got his A & P license just to take care of this airplane. His wife's Father had bought it new and left it to her when he passed away. I helped John pull the engine and we overhauled it in his garage at his house. It still had the electric prop on it and since he was a A & P mechanic, he serviced it regularly and it worked perfect! While the engine was out, he had the plane repainted the advertised red, white and blue color scheme that Beech was offering on it's new Bonanzas, commemorating the upcoming 200 birthday of the USA in 1976.
