Osho, a contemporary mystic speaks on virtually every aspect of human consciousness. In these talks, the human condition, whether the mind, the heart, love or awareness is exposed with humor and insight, as never before.
In this talk, 'I Always thought That I Loved Somebody', Osho with his singular perspective, points out, amongst his other insights, that love is not a commodity but a quality of being.
"The basic fallacy, that you are carrying within you is, that you always loved somebody.
This is one of the most significant things about all human beings; their love is always for somebody, it is addressed. ..."

As many others have said. So essentially the man who loses his legs in war its his choosing to accept and still be happy or not after. The starving children who are born in poverty can chose happiness. I find this one issue with all the greats and therefore in existence itself.

@@rainmaker3274 no matter what happens it’s the choosing. Sounds like your adding morality, that it’s not good, someone looses their leg or is born into poverty. It just is, for lack of a better way of putting it. It’s not good or bad, but still they, I must choose the circumstances as they are or suffer the consequence of resistance.

Love is not something to be chased or something to direct onto a single person romantically, love is to be “radiated” from within you towards all directions in and beyond the universe. True Love can be only be truly received after it has been unconditionally given.

Those last sentences are absolutely incredible. "Life is nothing but an opportunity for love to blossom. If you alive, the opportunity is there. Even to the last breath. You may have missed your whole life. Just the last breath, the last moment on the earth, if you can be love, you have not missed anything, because a single moment of love is equal to the whole eternity of love." Thinking so radically different from the general Western approach. How awesome for me to witness these such different ideas. It's not about whether Osho's words are true or false, it's about whether they become true for us. They can be experienced, and that is when the potential for the words to become true for us is realized.

Question - What does Osho say for my question - 'Where does emotions come from i.e. love?' - Per science it does not come from the heart, but it comes from Amegdula which is part of brain, and this Amegdula just pumps heart when emotions flow from Amegdula to heart... so what does Osho say on where emotion comes from?

I believe what OSHO says here is true... It is why most marriages and second marriages etcetra... Don't work or last! Because we don't know the true sense of love... We only know the "fleshly" and egotistical sense of Love! The love he talks of is spiritual love similar to Monks, Priests and Nuns... It is very hard for the common man/woman to comprehend this especially when we are plugged into society through jobs, family, friends, society, media, government etc. Solitude is the way!

No wonder why I feel uncomfortable when someone tells me that he or she loves me. I feel they are putting the ball in my court and I have to say something similar or better. The only person I feel comfortable with is my grandkid that is a child and with my daughter. But I have learned to tell them that they are love and I am love instead of telling them that I love them. Thank you very much OSHO.

There it is: it is not a question of being in love with someone, it's a question of being Love. 2:25 Love is the variation of your soul, and the greater the variation, the greater is your soul. Phew. Boom. Beautifully right. Why is he described as a mystic here in the decription?? He is a human being UN-mystificating.. My guess is he'd say "take that away, the point is NOT to call me that" if he were still embodied here now..

My secret of listening to his talks is to set the playback speed to 1.25x or 1.5x 😀. I believe he did everything in slow motion so he would live longer. Breathing slower, moving slower etc. Like a turtle.

Love is not reciprocal. If you don't love me back, it's okay... ♡ I love you anyway.

Love all hate none. I am spreading love so much that it is not coming back to me through radiation as all object surrounding me are empty and in search of love. :) I am still single. Hahaha.

And Trump says: [Hate anyone who is not an American, because American First!] So, are you with Osho or Trump? Sure, here, in this channel, you will say: [Osho is the greatest guru, bla bla bla....] But, out there, in the real world, you are always with Trump. Always! At least see the true face of yours, otherwise, there is no point to listen to Osho or any guru.

As Osho himself says his words are nothing but fire. You may get burnt sometimes. But approach with love, you will get transformed like fire melting and shaping the strongest and hardest metals. Only fire can lit more fire and give more light..
