There are some many things that you guys did in this vlog that made me smile. A few are: 1. Showing local signs 2. Enjoying the statue are Emancipation Park 3. Support local vendors not jus established businesses 4. Persisted in going to the Bob Marley Museum our of respect for the icon. 5. Drove here I greatly enjoyed the vlog. Honestly, driving in Jamaica is VERY stressful, and a few of the drivers tend to ignore street signs and traffic warnings/instructions. However, the worst places I've ever driven are NYC and South Florida. If you drive in NYC, you should be able to drive anywhere with ease.

Happens in many many other countries as well my friend .. Well travelled persons should be used to it . It's not harassment . It's just a way of life . I didn't think I was being harassed when I visited Thailand , Egypt , China , South Africa and other countries . Its not ideal but we don't have to be ashamed of it . It's really not that bad in my opinion .. well in comparison to some places I've been to . So Don't worry about it ☺️

@@hdkeemii8315 It's not always that simple to just come back, my husband was born/raised in Ja, came to the US for college and stayed. It gets expensive to go back and forth when you're supporting a family, might not have much vacation time from a job, and COVID issues don't make it easier. He hasn't been home since 2017 but we want to go visit in 2023, I really want him to see his dad and sister it's been way too long 😢❤️

Suggestion for your next trip to Jamaica go to Negril Love the beach and vibe there. So glad you enjoyed your trip to Jamaica. Jamaica is beautiful and most of the people are as well. I've been 10 times.

Great video - thanks! I lived one summer, years ago (in 1990!) in Port Royal - across the harbour from Kingston (as a graduate student doing a nautical archaeology field school). So loved seeing sites from my visit so long ago. Had a similar experience to yours at the Bob Marley House. At that time there was a rather odd wax figure of Marley in the recording studio - which I expect is gone now…it wasn’t in great shape then!

I just moved to Canada for a 6 month stint and can comfortably say that after walking through Vancouver, as much good I think it would do decriminalising marijuana.. the smell becomes so overpowering and just sticks to you (particularly on a face mask 💀)

Omg I loved watching this. I’m born and raised Jamaican until I was 19 and I go home 1-2 times per year. Kingston is a VIBE! Tourists rarely go there so to see this is amazing. I also used to be a tour guide for 2yrs age 17-19 and loved it! Love Bob museum too! So much more to Jamaican than Ochi, Negril and Mobay! New sub here!

Man almost every home have a mango 🥭 tree in their yard. Love Bongo Herman he's an icon that much overlook. I replay his little section over and over.
