Keep it on the list. No, move it up a notch. It’s one of those places we keep going back to - and still haven’t gotten enough! Thanks so much for your comment!

The story of the Victoria Terrasse makes us hope that after it’s dark history, it is transformed into a space that people will enjoy again. Because you’re right, the architecture Im of that building is just stunning.

Wow, so much to take in. What a epic visit to Oslo. It may not be a large Capitol - it makes up for it in such a broad and interesting history. That statue park looks amazing... I enjoyed the well documented and commentated tour through Oslo. Interesting to say the least. Great coverage. Oh and I meant to start with this: Congratulations 🍾🥂with the 1K subscribers. Well deserved. 🌺👌🇳🇱🙋‍♀🇳🇿

Anita, thanks so much for noticing! We went out for Indian food at our favorite restaurant to celebrate the 1k. And maybe in a few months we’ll make enough to pay for it😭. Oslo has long been a favorite city, but this channel has forced us to see, learn and document more than I ever did when I was travelling as a younger person. So, even if KZbin doesn’t make us wealthy, we are richer for the experiences!

Maybe we focused on the art installations because we love that - but I’ve never met anyone that doesn’t think Frogner Park isn’t the coolest place in the city. And the fact that their opera house offers a small hiking opportunity. Norway is the perfect synthesis of art, nature and activity.

Great city. Keep it on your list - and when you go, plan enough time to get out to some of the smaller villages too. Skjolden was our favorite.

We’ve fallen in love with the country. Oslo is a great gateway to the rest of Norway. We prefer some of the small fjord villages, but Oslo is a great start!

@@billyb5057 Everywhere we've been in the world is dealing with the effects of climate change. We met people in Norway who talked about the melting of the polar ice cap, the way "hard" winters (where they get ice and snow followed by sunshine and warm temps repeatedly throughout the winter) have caused flooding and killed plant life. We are seeing those things in our own backyard, but on every continent too.
