They sing a medley of songs which include We're Having A Party, The Girl I Love & Motown Special. They also sing You Are The Sunshine of My Life and perform a dance routine with Ann. From my personal collection

Wow!!! The Osmonds were so entertaining…Jay choreographed most of their dance moves! You just don’t see talent like this anymore …And geez what an aerobic workout!!🥳
@craigslivka1 Жыл бұрын
this was Jay. Jay pretty much did the Donny and Marie show choreography. The Osmond's early stuff they knew choreographers from their Andy Williams day, and for the tv stuff (like yo-yo on the Flip Wilson show, the show's choreographer did the choreography). This style of dancing was not jay's forte but more of a Michael Kidd nature (it was not Michael Kidd, but had a very Seven Brides for Seven Brothers feel). I think for the early concert years the brothers worked on the dance routines together. There were things kept from tv show choreography and things discarded. Which really is pretty smart because, at that point in their careers, they understood what worked at making them excel the way they did, and what made them a little uncomfortable and not look as good on stage.

THIS, KIDS, is whatcha' call REAL TALENT, REAL ENTERTAINMENT! This family is long overdue for recognition from the entertainment industry for their tremendous talent and contribution to America's musical history. And, despite the fact that Donny was deemed the so-called " superstar" of the group back in those days, it was Merrill who possessed the strongest, most unique voice and Jay who possessed the true dance prowess, and when paired with the rest of the Brothers, are just an incomparable vision to watch and listen to. They were THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Glad I was fortunate enough to have been around to witness the magic of those years.
@MsJimmysgirl7 ай бұрын
I agree....Merrill had the best voice and probably could have been a rock star if he had gone solo. Donny was more of the heart throb of the group.

Reason that the Osmonds never got a fair shake in getting in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. People keep comparing them to the Jackson family. You noticed that the Jackson family kind of bailed out of the spot light. Janet and Michael were the ONLY two performing at one time. The Osmonds will never get their well deserved acknowledgement in the Kennedy Honors nor Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Osmonds outlast the Jackson family.
