Thank you for sharing your process on this repair, I have the same blistering on my hull. How long did you leave the boat out of the water to dry before pressure washing, and how long after pressure washing before applying the filler?

The boat was out only a few weeks before pressure washing. It took a few weeks to get all the blisters but then we filled right away. The sanding made the gelcoat over the blisters thinner but also made it hard to see them. Pressure washing got some but not all of the blisters. It worked best when the wand was close to square to the surface. We couldn't get that underneath because of the length of the wand. Since these blisters were very small and shallow a few weeks is plenty of time to dry out. Larger and deeper ones could take all winter to dry out. If they are not ground out first. I have seen blisters disappear over a winter storage without any repair but of course they will reappear.

@@MonaroMarine Thanks for the reply! my boat dried for 10 months outside. I ended up just sanding down the blisters, applying 4 coats Interprotect and 4 coats of VC Performance. Im happy with the results, and really hoping the blisters don't reappear.
