Implementing PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) on VLAN interfaces on MikroTik routers and Cisco switches will not only deliver optimal connectivity solutions to your customer if you are an ISP, but it will also save you cost by allowing you to provision multiple clients on a physical interface. PPPoE is commonly used in broadband connections to provide authentication and dynamic IP address assignment to clients.
