Can't wait. The EF is a very nice option for me. Tall and a bit fatty. It's more to do the walk between the car and the camp, more than for hiking. So it's perfect for me. Thanks for reassuring me. :)

First comment! Great video - thank you. I appreciated you talking through the features without fuss. I like your style and so have subscribed. I bought the retro-style mustard yellow Rook 50 liter last night here in the UK, and can't wait for it to arrive. I havent bought a new large rucksack for about 20 years, so this will replace my rather large original MacPac (NZ). I have numerous small sub-30 litre bags - my wife thinks (incorrectly) that I now need what she calls 'a luggage intervention'.. ;-) Keep up the good work

Thanks for this early look at the new line. Is there a reason why in this review video, the hipbelt is worn so high? (Unless I have been wearing it all wrong, it seems to be an inch or 2 above the top of the hip; I have an odd fit with hipbelts (average height, extra long torso), so it's one of the first things I notice when i look at people wearing large backpacks.)

That's a great question! The hipbelt is generally supposed to sit atop the hipbones, which can appear higher up on some individuals than others. For taller individuals with short torsos, those hipbones will appear higher and therefore so will the hipbelt. For individuals with longer torsos, those hipbones will appear lower and therefore so will the hipbelt. There's no right or wrong height, so long as the pack and the hipbelt are transferring the load to your hips and it feels secure.
