You definitely have the best review out there for the Palma. I have watched a bunch of them prior to making my purchase. I was planning on buying this last year but there weren’t many reviews of this, so kudos for putting all the work into this and showing us all the features.

Love my BOOX devices. I already have a Max Lumi 2, and a Tab Ultra C. Different in sizes, and both have a purpose. This will fit right in with those, in that it's going to increase portability that the others can't. The Lumi 2 is great for a full paper experience, being able to work up and read entire PDFs without pinching and zooming. The Tab Ultra C is great for anything with color, and can deal less with full documents, and can use epub or kindle app books just perfectly. This will even increase the reading into a go-anywhere format. Even without a stylus support, there's so much versatility with the customizable buttons on both sides, along with all the swiping and gesture support.

You can customize the buttons and the refresh rate and all for each individual app and it saves the settings.

Have you tested ultra refresh rate until battery finishes? How long would it last ?

It's not a sim card slot it's an SD slot.
