You are essentially pairing all the opposite tiles and watching where the axes spawn. If they don't spawn on one side of the room, the opposite paired tile will be safe. Refer to circled tiles in the video.
Note that two axes can spawn opposite of each other, rendering that pair of tiles unsafe for that phase.
There are other methods that use less tiles and require tick perfect movements, but this is a more simple showcase using the marked tiles below.
