Struggling with the final fight in Song of the Elves like I was? Blood spells and redemption not quite working for you? No need to grind until you get brews or a trident, just farm some belladonna and you're good to go!
I want to shoutout this video by IronmanBTW, who gave me the idea for the chinchompas and also helped me personally with learning the timing on the phoenix necklaces. There are other videos out there showing how to do this fight on an ironman, but this was the one I found most helpful! • Budget Ironman Seren B...
I just made a few minor changes using the Feb 2023 update, and have not seen the stackable nightshade strategy covered in other videos, so I figured I'd make my own. Hope you find this helpful!

great guide! was struggling with blood spells on my uim, the stackable nightshade made it soooooooooooooo much easier to get the kill

Just finished this for the first time ever. Tried the brews combo and this is waaay easier. Took me a few runs to get the hang of the necklace timings - perseverance is needed - it’s very easy once u get it. Thanks for the video - a very creative and simpler way to combat this😀

perfect guide, just helped me get it first try on my iron. 80 magic, 70 pray, 80hp. one thing i changed was to have a couple high healing food (I used sharks) instead of the inevitable extra p necks. When I missed the p neck proc on clone phase, I ate one shark to get right back to where you'd be if the neck proc'd so you can stay focused and not panic eating. other than that, excellent work man I was so calm in this fight thanks to you

Thanks for the guide, got it first attempt with the same stats as you. Used 7 nightshade and 8 pnecks. Was a little uncertain at first but made sense when in the fight!

Oh man your tip about the chinchompas I'm certain was the difference for me. Wanted to try a few more runs with blood spells and sharks before trying your method and I killed her in between a p1 and p2 with 20 health and 0 food left. Bless you sir.

Nailed it first time on my ironman thanks to your video. I still used blood spells instead of ibans, only used 6 P necks in the end, I got lucky haha.

Thanks for the guide! I was probably a little underleveled, but I managed to do it on my third try. 74 magic, 60 prayer, 75 hp. I needed to adjust to have 4 prayer pots, and it ended up being just enough. At the end of the fight I still had 3 necklaces left and 3 strawberries.

Thank you so much for this vid! Would've been a long while before the quest would've been done if not for you. I had 68 magic, 68 hp, 60 def, 60 prayer. Went with a hunter cbow instead of chins & brought a 3 guthix rests, other than that I followed your guide to a T.

I had 80 magic and 83 hp when i beat her. I used redemption, blood spells, and tuna potatoes. I only. Healed right before and once after her special attack. It took 4 prayer potions. Both of these options work really well.

I had my game face on at the moment Seren used her ult. Only to realize I had the nightshade on "Use" instead of "Eat". I then proceeded to 1 shot her. Thanks for the video mate!

Huge! Did this today, 76 magic, 80 hitpoints, 70 prayer. Brought 4 prayer pots and 2 basket of strawberries instead, worked like a charm!

Completed this today 73 mage 70 def, 83 hp with no barrows gloves and ibans blast. Grabbed the mage arena god cape which took 10 minutes. The p necklace piece is the easiest part. If you're low mage level like me I recommend bringing 7 prayer pots, 7 baskets of strawberries (easier to get than guthix rests), no need for dwarven rock cake but do the rune pouch, nightshades and the rest of your inv be necklaces. The powerful special attack is the next special attack after the healing lights. As long as you keep track of that this shit is insanely easy. You can equip the necklace after she tp's you and eat the nightshade easily with tons of time to spare. Good luck!

Gonna give this a shot when I reach the fight, hope it helps! Medium fuse on chins get the attack speed boost to match with knives by the way, not short fuse. Which makes no sense, I know, but that's what the Wiki says.

Anybody watching this video who may still be a bit worried about trying this method, fret not... This method is WAY easier than you think it would be. I was successful on my first try with this method on my ironman... 75 mage, shitty mage gear set up, blood burst just wasn't doing enough damage, I couldn't bring enough food to actually finish the fight. As stated in the video, the period of invulnerability following the p neck proccing is very forgiving. You can do this!

I kept running out of food at around 200hp. Did it first try with this method, I had 8 necklaces left over, too easy. The timings are indeed very forgiving I thought I for sure was going to die a few times.

I didn't really understand when to put on the neclace, my hp are 82, especially for the special attack. Do i need to keep my hp always under 30 ? And aslong as I am doing that I will be fine ? I can't really see what your hp are on my screen, when the special attack comes in, so just that u understand it correctly u eat 1 flower in the window you mention to get under 30hp and then it will worj, or does it has to be a specific hp number ? And i don't understand what the problem was, when you let your hp too low, because if you would just have used a necklace, your hp would have gotten back to over 30, than you could just have eaten another flower to get -15hp and you would have been good or am I seeing this wrong ? And at the point where you nearly died from the clones, why did the necklace not activate ? Your hp were really low no ? Thanks very much in advance

Any alternative suggestions to the nightshade / rock cake to take down your own HP? I have an ironman locked to Tirannwn and Isle of Souls and am not sure what I could use for that self-damaging strategy 🤔💭

I must have done 10 attempts by now. Even with multiple guides and both brews or necklace method I always die to the nuke attack. So frustrating.

What am i doin wrong? Equipping the neck and eat the nightshade as Fragment lift but still getting ko'd.... 5 Tries and not a single one did work? Boosting for Brews now lel

Chins are slower then darts and knives as seen in the video. But good job. Stackable nightshade is a game changer

every time I go to use rock cake or locator orb it doesn't work and I get killed. Is this patched? I wait until she goes in the air and start mashing locator orb or rock cake and nothing happens

You can only eat food when she actually grabs you, the nightshade specifically is what makes this work.

i still don't understand what you want your health to be at and when you're supposed to eat the nightshade???

Your HP needs to fall below 20% of your max for phoenix necklace to activate. It activates, heals you for 30% of your HP, and then negates all damage from the next incoming hit. So once she grabs you, you eat nightshade until you drop below 20% of your HP, you'll get healed, and the special hit she does gets negated :) To calc 20% of your HP just type 20 * YOUR HP / 100 into Google and you'll know what you need to go below for pneck to activate.
