The EASIEST way to learn Corrupted Gauntlet! (guide to T2 armour prep and 5:1 method)

The Corrupted Gauntlet (CG) is for many OSRS players their first introduction to more advanced combat mechanics, but a lot of people graduating from the regular to corrupted version really struggle to complete it consistently. This guide shows off my preferred method to approaching CG for getting consistent (not necessarily the fastest) completions by preparing tier 2 armour and doing the 5:1 method in the fight.
This guide assumes you're already familiar with the mechanics of the Gauntlet, so it's not for absolute beginners - this is only for once you've managed to unlock the corrupted version!

Nice vid. 1 more tip, Steel Skin may just help you win the fight with just a little bit more def (especially on T1).

What are you talking about? Youre gonna use augury or rigour here which cant be combined with steel skin

​@@Yurgen99 if you're using eagle eye or mystic might like majority of people grinding out cg then it can be combined with steel skin

CG is fun, but when you're up to 15-16 rooms and haven't found any bark whatsoever... yeah..

Yeah the RNG on resource spawns can be annoying sometimes. Honestly I'd be in favour of them just removing the time limit entirely so that you don't feel like you lost a run because you just didn't get enough resources spawned in the rooms you unlocked. It'd still be worth learning to do prep as fast as possible to get more kc/hr, without getting punished for something that's sometimes beyond your control.

What’s ur camera settings for your keys? I used to use a and d for right and left but now won’t work with pray/inv

I move the camera with middle click + mouse drag instead of with the keyboard. If you prefer to move the camera with the keyboard you might consider binding these to nearby keys instead like Q and E.

@@Tpoyooo kept trying, had like 20 cg deaths in a row and now I’m 30 kc in, last night witnessed a Ironman get a enhanced weapon seed first kc on Cg. Absolutely insane

why is his Crystal Armor purple? None of the Tiers of Crystal look like that and I can't find anything on the wiki with that color while inside the Gauntlet. What the hell is he wearing.

All the gear / armor, weapons are a "Corrupted" and a different color in the corrupted gauntlet, which is a hard version of the regular Gauntlet. On the main gauntlet wiki page, there is a subsection for the Corrupted Gauntlet if you scroll down
