Hey, nice guide! A suggestion for people new to soloing is to bring a ring of life, it saved me 3 times when i was learning! I still bring one just in case. I personally bring a blowpipe for higher DPS, if you can't get prime within a safe rapid range, you can use long range to safespot him. I also bring BGS as a spec weapon for Supreme, it's really helpful to take him down quick with lower stats (I have 75 attk 87 str 75 def). I also only bring one brew and just bring sharks, I really don't even use the brews a lot personally. Another tip is you can sub an antitode++ for a sanfew serum, it cures poison and heals prayer. Another thing you forgot to mention is the safe spot outside of the latter you can use to hop worlds/wait for rex to lose aggro on you

Very good tips. I have used the ring of life there twice and died both times, it did not save me. I did mention the sanfew serums but they are quite overpriced. I agree with the sharks, and I completely forgot the safespot outside the ladder, my bad! Thanks for the help and feed back man

No point in bgs on supreme, he only has +10 in combat defensive stats, thus it being a waste of inventory, barely changes anything.

108 who efficiently solo’s DK’s here. 1) If you’re bringing blood spells, only bring 1-2 brews. You’re going to run out of prayer much faster than you will food, I promise you. 2) If you’re using blood spells, bring freeze spells also. Makes Rex much easier to control. 3) Use the safe spot next to the ladder. With Rex in the spot, you can blood barrage him + spinolops’ that are in the corner. You can’t achieve this in other places. 4) Use a blowpipe unless you have a Dragon Crossbow. A rune crossbow is pretty bad, even with the amethyst broad bolts. Over 2K combined kills here, Rex pet, 108 combat who does all his Dagganoth tasks here. Please, bring a Ring of Life while you’re learning. The spinolops’ can stack you out, I promise.

This is a great guide. Prior to watching this, I've soloed Rex on my ironman a few times but had no idea how to do prime/supreme. My gear is really lackluster though, I honestly need to get barrows... I've been using rune legs/plate with neitiznot helm, amulet of glory, ardy cloak 1, ibans staff (u), unfilled godbook for pray bonus, mystic boots, and ring of life lol. For soloing Rex it works, but I need Archer's/seers ring as well. Need to upgrade my set up and do some barrows/slayer (need broad bolts) I guess lol. Can I melee with a dscim if whip is unavailable? I should be able to get everything else you had in the video, aside from an amulet of fury

The way I have been trying to do it, and also the way some other guides mention is to first kill Supreme, than get Prime low HP, than lure and kill Rex, than go back anad finish Prime. The problem with that, is my range DPS is real low (83 range BP, Anguish switch) and while I am tanking rex, to get Prime low HP, I mostly dont hit often enough and run out of food, and have to tele out

Tip for zerkers: 1) Bring a crystal bow (i) or magic longbow to range prime (to avoid defensive xp); 2) You should only bring one brew and two antidote++ (assuming blood blitz). Take one ranging and super-combat potion. 3) You can bring 2 anglers and a karambwan to combo eat when entering as you'll take a lot of damage with 45 defense from Supreme (also frees up inv space for potential food drops/other drops); 4) if you're taking a lot of damage on the initial entry, hop up the ladder and heal, then go back and fight. Don't waste dps eating while fighting dks; 5) you can freeze Rex to make the entry easier; 6) if prime and supreme are hitting off tick its actually very easy to prayer flick between mage and range; 7) it's always better to have to tele out when you first get there then have medium length shitty trip. Eat your food, don't save it. Dks drop food and you can live off blood blitz if you have to. Armor setup for zerks: slayer helm (i), fury, ranging cape (t), fighters torso, blessed d'hide chaps, barrows gloves, ring of suffering (i), ranger boots or blessed d'hide boots, spirit shield (or rune kite if 52 prayer) Weapon setup for zerks: trident of the swamp, crystal bow (i), bandos godward, dragon scimitar If you are doing this right you should be getting between 45-55 kills per trip.

So I've never done DK's but I have a question. Since you're using magic against Rex, would using the blood spells on him to heal be more viable than the spinolyps? I mean in my mind you'd be healing while also getting a faster kill.

You dont need to kill Supreme and Prime to solo Rex. You have to get a lucky ladder spawn where they dont agro as soon as you go down. Then you just run along the southern edge to the Rex safe spot. Getting the lucky spawns as you go up and down the ladder is the most frustrating part and can burn up half of your food supply. After that soloing Rex is boring asf and you can keep healing up with Guthans. Rex also drops cooked fish commonly so healing up is rarely a problem

Duo is a little different. When me and my buddy duo, we usually kill supreme first off, then we kill prime, then we lure rex and kill, and then just continue in that order and hope they don't respawn on us. Not really viable to do that order solo though as it's hard to kill that fast.

Great guide! Was pretty good for me because I've never done dks and want to kill them on my uim because I can't buy the rings and other things they drop. I have a question though. You show it's very easy to kill just Rex, but what about the other two? Is there a way to kill Supreme without getting the attention of Prime? Because otherwise I'll be taking a lot of trips down there. Either way, thanks for explaining and showing what you need to do! Most people just flash a diagram or quickly run through it without explaining, which isn't super helpful.

I am unsure of how effective it is to just try and kill rex / supreme. I would still recommend killing all three at the same time if gear and stats permit it. I am sorry I cannot be more of help but to my knowledge, you can only have prime off of you if you are just soloing Rex or if you have Supreme in an area where Prime cannot reach which is kind of hard to do. Can I do only rex with a 60 att zerker? I have 86 str 85 range and 94 mage. I'm guessing dpsing rex would be easy but I don't know about tanking and killing supreme.

I've heard of Zerkers doing Rex. I'm sure it will be doable, once you start the process of just killing Rex you can just use blood spells to heal. Just bring extra food / brews for your first times till you know how much you get hit. I'm sure if you practice a few times, you can easily do all three with those stats. May be hard, but I think you can do it.

If you cannot kill all three fast enough, you have to partially kill the mage like I did in the video, then safe spot rex and kill him, then finish the mage and kill the range as fast as possible. If Rex spawns when killing supreme, pray flick if possible but if you can't you just have to kill supreme fast. I would suggest just soloing rex at your levels rn. Good luck!

I always tank supreme when i go down while praying mage cus prime always gets on me... Eat about 3 of the 5 or 6 brews i bring but I'm able to last a really long time after that. Is this normal or am I suppose to go up and down the ladder until prime doesn't get on me anymore? Supreme hits hard once you go in when I start my trip.

It is typical. I usually do use a lot of my brews in the beginning and I am fine form there on out. It is better if you can get supreme alone and close, but sometimes going up and down gets you hurt too much. So try to get him close, if you can survive and do fine / to your liking without getting him close, then do that :) Good luck

Why use blood spells on spinos instead of rex? Otherwise good newby guide, but I would recommend just hitting rex ;).

If you are killing all three, sometimes Rex shouldn't be killed yet in order to let the other one spawn. Other than that, feel free to hit Rex with blood spells if doing solo!

You will have to wait until he gets closer, sometimes it is hard because he will stay far away.

Blowpipe if u have 90+ range and defence and use atleast addy darts also the crystal hally rips through supreme, you can trust me I have the prime pet 😆

just did a whole task here and got a dragon spear drop, ffs :D I used a trident of the swamp and it sucks ass, ended up ice barraging rex when I felt he wouldn't die soon enough for other spawns

@@HartBlitz i swear, 3 tasks there and got my first drops tonight, a berserker ring and a dragon axe lol The Crystal halberd is very very useful, i'd 100% recommend anyone to bring it. But don't go 3 specs in a row when you first go down, because you won't have a shield on and you will get comboed hard. Also ice barrage is very useful, bring about 200 water runes, use it for your trip and at the end just drop the water runes and pick up a bone. the runes are worth like 400gp
