That South Park episode is really disturbing but it highlights that, at least in America, female pedophile teachers aren't treated as harshly as they should be or as their male counter parts. Guys always joke "oh if I did x with my teacher would have been the man!" rather than seeing them as pedos. There are quite a lot of famous cases here about female teachers and a ton of people just focus on the looks or say "the age gap isn't THAT bad 🤮

I think cutting out the part from the South Park episode where society treats it casually because she’s an attractive female teacher really ruins the point of the episode. It really changes the context entirely. Instead of looking like it’s laughing about the thing happening, the joke is how callous our society is about the double standards in sex crimes against minors in America. A lot of people don’t take it seriously if a woman does it unless she’s ugly.

I admit I do not watch many adult cartoons. My favorite is Helluva Boss and I have a tolerance for Simpsons and Rick and Morty, but I do not go out of my way to watch them as they tend to lack character development, a continuous storyline and often (for me) likeable characters you should route for. Like the Happy Tree Friends gore did not bother me, but the depiction of someone with PTSD does.
