Ostend, Belgium Pt1

On Saturday, 6th February 2016, the Skoda took me on a trip to Belgium, via the ferry from Dover to Calais (France) and then up the road to Ostend. It was just a 'day out' with the only intention of an enjoyable trip, with a good lunch. This first video is just 'walking into town'.

Thank you a lot for visiting my little city ! I meeted alot of Uk people at the Flanagans pub in the "Langestraat" but now its closed :( And a decade ago they stopped the ferry lines, first Dover then Ramsgate, competition with the Eurotunnel in France got to high :( Anyway UK people are very fun to hang around with, and your always welcome here ! greetings from Ostend !

Thank you for watching, I do like Ostend, the trouble is, there are a lot of lovely places to visit all along the coast from Ostend down to Boulogne, and only a few days available. I will be back!

+cutworm59 She disgraced herself at Dover, the engine immobiliser decided that I didn't want to be first on the boat, and she took a lot of convincing to cross to France, but once she got over there, she enjoyed the trip.

Thanks Harry. I've been there half a dozen times, but never looked around much. It would be fun to get a good look at the train shop.

+Rusty “rustyglovebox” Glovebox I was going to go in there, but it was chock full of old lawnmowers. As for model railway stuff, well, I went to look, and the prices convinced me just to look.
