Ostrich Bites and Hilarious Animal Park Trip

The ostrich bite wasn't funny...I'm a little protective of Abbie I guess but she doesn't process pain the same way I do so it's hard to know if she is actually hurt or not. The rest of it was hilarious though. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

I have never laughed so hard! Cilla has THE best giggle in the world! I’m going there, it is only an hour and a half from us and I was born in Virginia but lived in W-S, N.C. For 40 years and loved Boone area. Go to Art In the Park. Just ask locals what the dates are. Great artisans!

Oh It cracked me up, I've been watching fatheringautism and other families with nonverbal children for a long time and I've noticed that I have this innate ability to understand what they are trying to communicate sometimes (I mean that was kinda obvious she buckled herself 😂) but I mean when shes walking around the house vocalizing and answering asa and Priscilla I can somehow understand what she means. (Or I think I can anyway🙂) It has really made me want to get into respite care I feel like Its needed and that I could do it.

Was just at this park on Wednesday! I nearly peed myself laughing when the ostrich tried biting me and an Elk took my bucket!!! Just like Cilla! We also loved the walk about area, feeding the giraffes, budgies and the penguins and kangaroos were adorable...but it was so hot. We drove thru then left for lunch at the pink Cadillac...came back afterward to do the walk portion.
