Hi there Geoff, sorry for the late reply buddy. As always, it's very much our pleasure to share our adventures. Yes, a very scenic part of the UK and often driven past by many visiting Scotland. Ah, yes, the park up was a great find, but as you know, we normally do well around water lol. Many thanks as always and all the very best. Take care, Tony and Claire.

Dumfries and Galloway, that brings back memories of when I was working in the area. As for Newton Stewart just down the road from your park up, was where I last played golf in Scotland. A beautiful area but missed by many as they travel north. The climate here is more continental mainly due to the Gulf Stream. Very enjoyable. Many thanks ❤❤🚐🍻Al

Hi Claire & Tony, Clatteringshaws Loch: my wife and I remember it well-we stopped there last year in April on our way to the NW coast of Scotland, and again in May on our way home. We will be heading into Scotland again in a few days-we will be looking out for you! Thanks for your great content.

Hi there, many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment. Ah, a familiar area for you then, the Clatteringshaws Loch area is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, a lovely spot to stop. Have a great time in Scotland when you visit, what a great country to explore by road. We've unfortunately moved on from Scotland now (our videos run behind), however, yes, keep your eye out, as who knows where we'll be next. Many thanks again and all the very best, safe travels when you get to them. Take care, Tony and Claire

Hi guys! Just catching up with your latest videos. D&G is a lovely area, and sometimes missed as an rea to visit, but definitely worth exploring.That steak, asparagus and mushrooms looked very tasty, and a Tunnocks teacakes for afters.... superb! 😋😋. I'm guessing Claire's was the medium rare and yours was the " knock it's horns off, wipe its bum and stick it on the plate" !?😁👍. Clatteringshaws loch looks a great park up. I think Stephen (CVUK) has parked in that area last winter(?). Hmmm, I might try that dry shampoo, looks like it could add volume to my hair...but then it would take longer to dry and I wouldn't be able to just use my old chamois leather to dry and polish my head 👩🦲. I like the idea of the paint tray switch holder👍. We have lights on the sides and rear of "Connie" , yet to put one facing forward. They're great for security and taking the dog out when it's dark. We've not got a roof rack, so I mounted them on CB aerial gutter mounts so I didn't have to drill more holes in the body, it's got too many naturally formed holes as it is.....we'll, it is a Transit🙄. Any way, take care guys, looking forward to the next episode in one of our favourite areas of the UK. 👩🦲👩🦳🐕🚐🥩🏴🙂👍
@adventurevanfreddie8 ай бұрын
Hi there buddy, hope you're well. Yep, D&G is often bypassed on the way to the northern parts of Scotland and it's a beautiful part of the country. We need to put some serious time aside and explore a lot more of the region👌👍🏴. Haha🤣, no, it's actually Claire who likes her steak to just touch the pan and be served, whereas I prefer to not have a plate covered with blood lol. Yes, Stephen parked up further up the road from the Loch, he contacted us the other day to remind us of his great park up...too late. 🤣👍, nothing wrong with a good old chamois leather and you don't want too much volume, especially when you're at work, it will get in the way. 👍Great idea for mounting extra lights on Connie the transit (with holes) and yes, lights definitely help with security. I've now added an additional switch so that I can turn the lights on/off from the bed, at least then I can look out of the rear window if something spooks Claire again👍. Sorry for the late reply and take care our friend. All the very best as always. 👍💙❤️🚐📷🏴

@adventurevanfreddie8 ай бұрын
🤣😂....indeed, a good chuffing can get very expensive my friend, however, a bottle of red and a spa day could be the bribe I'm looking for; if you find a spa that does monthly subscriptions....I'm in👍🤣😂🍷🤞. Hello Tony and Claire I am late watching you guys this week, I had my cousin and his wife and their twins over for Easter weekend. It was lovely but they left today and I am sad. The house is so quiet without them. It’s great having young kids staying plenty of board games Ludo was one of them 👌. Great video as always. Dumfries looks like a nice place. Anyway I’m catching up with my 😴 can’t do late night as much anymore. As always stay safe and take care ❤❤❤
@adventurevanfreddie8 ай бұрын
Hi ya. Wow, it sounds like you have had a very busy Easter and it's very nice to hear that you weren't alone and had plenty of company. Young kids are great, endless energy. It's great that you played board games, something a lot of the younger generations no longer try or enjoy....and of course Ludo👍😁. Try not to be sad, just think that through your hospitality, you've no doubt given your cousin a lovely break 'from the norm' and the kids a break from the TV etc....kids love adventures away from home. Yes, Dumfries was enjoyable and helped us avoid some of the bad weather. Well, you take care, have a good night's sleep and know that you are not the only one that can't do late nights🤔😉. Sending you big hugs, sweet dreams and our best wishes as always. 👍💙❤️

Ah peter pan and the little fairy, reminds me of you two, although thinking of Tony in a sparkling dress and a wand is a little unsettling 😅😂. Well guys I was in moffat yesterday, you know the little place you bypassed 😅. stopped for a Starbucks at the service station (sorry Claire 😊) Then later shared a haggis supper on a bench, yep just warm enough to do so.😮. Mind you I think Tony's steak would have been just as good 💯😊. Ps a clue on a crossword comes up sometimes as,a Scottish town, thick chips. Answer, DUMFRIES 😊. Great little park up again guys, you sure do find them, and keep doing so. Have a great week 😎.🏴 And hope you had a good Easter 🕊️🕊️🕊️

🤣😂🤔Cheeky git😂🤣👍, I look good in a sparkling dress I'll have you know🤣. Ooo, your little visit to Moffat sounds great, a haggis super on a bench sounds just perfect our friend, however, your Scottish heritage is certainly showing.....'warm enough'....you must be joking, it needs to be another 10 degrees warmer to be sitting eating on a park bench, well it does for us soft southerners🤔😂. Thich chips-Dumfries, that's one to remember lol. Yes, another great spot to stay and explore, and as you well know (as you've been with us for a long time), find a loch/lake and find a park up👍😎. Yes thanks, a quiet Easter but a nice one, we hope that you both had a great Easter👍🙏👌. As always, thanks for the giggle and for sticking with us.
