Coach Dennis Cavalier was a 2-time State Championship winning coach. Cavalier coached the Pampa, (TX) Harvesters for 16 seasons, prior to his untimely death. Cavalier guided the program from relative obscurity into one of West Texas’ big-school powerhouses. Cavalier compiled a 107-68-2 record at Pampa. Dennis Cavalier coached a total of 26 seasons, including stops at Goddard, Ks., Wichita, Ks. -Southeast (30-3) and Chickasha, Ok. Cavalier had a 201-116-2 overall mark. I play for Coach Cav in 1978-79, we were 20-2 during that time.
