Same bro. I started downloading a lot of maps and deleting others that I don't use (7k maps) and checking my rank 3 times a day. It keeps me competitively playing the game to get better and not the opposite or staying at the same rate. I'm a chill guy but when I tried it it felt good and not pressuring or something like other games and that's what made osu my most played game daily for the past 2 weeks.

My learning method is more of a "play less" kind of deal. Taking 1-2 day breaks for some reason helps me more than grinding songs.

about a year and a half in I'd say and I dropped massively from 25k - 33k cause i stopped playing. Getting back in to it now and slowly re learning the skills i had but in a different way to ensure i become better faster. Great video, and keep up ur osu grind :>

Try to play more often, play maps that cost you a lot (obviously do not break the tendons xd) with that you will improve very fast, I play since June and I am already top 7k of 4K, it should be clarified that I am quite active.

I remember that i saw this video when i had 2_1 month playing Osu mania, ur improvement was fantastic, i used to say that i can't even pass 5* at the 9_10 months, however, I've played almost 11 months and on average i usually play 5.30*_6* and i get S in some of them, basically just play more, the hands and brain will get used to it, also try different keys, positions, skins, patterns etc, it's usually really useful (i don't speak english as the main language, srry if there're mistakes)

Yeah I started out with fnf, so I don’t think I really *started* out correctly. Luckily for me, I managed to get guidance from osu mania videos lol. Unfortunately I can’t play downscroll, even if I find it more mesmerizing than upscroll, but it’s always a sense of comfort. Been almost a year since I started osu mania (started end of summer of 2021) and I’ve been improving. I scare fnf kids now lol

11 months of progression: 4.24* in 10k. 4.24* in 9k. 5.34* in 7k. 5.43* in 4k. Values based on highest S rank per mode not just passing with a B. 💀 As for Dan ranks, 4k: Dan reform 5 7k: Regular dan 2, LN Dan 2 10k: Dan 3, BMS Dan 4 Have been ironing out accuracy the past month so these values are a bit dated. I'm definitely going to push myself next week. See if I can SS a 4 star, or S higher 4 star content in 7k to finally pass the damn 5 star wall completely.

I suddenly give full respect to all osu players after seing these types of osu videos, shows how much they suffer for years and extreme pro in beat games. Nowadays so many garbage try to say their game fnf hard, shamelessly telling osu pro don't even know a thing turn out they are the ones who don't know anything at all. Camellia, Retrospect, Bob, Spong, Gebus, Qt, Agoti, Tabi, Whitty, Shaggy, Tricky, Accelerant, Ruv are too fking easy for 4k players. I need a bleach to clean my eyes when I see 10 star osu notes. Fking cursed can't see anything, too fast All spam like full screen, even though obviously not spam you can click and get the rhythm if it's osu players. For reference if osu players are human, non osu players will forgot to even breathe, cause this is common sense to osu players, they need to remind them how to breathe. FNF is nothing for osu players, also I'm not an osu player and osu videos change my mind that I'm just a fking garbage afterall.

i'm still not convinced if i even want to play osu!mania. i play regular osu for a long time now and considering how bad i am relatively probably the same is gonna be with osu!mania :v i'm worse in regular osu than you! lol like, i like playing these kind of games (i'd call them skill based:P) but i'm so done with being like the worst player ever that i don't know >.< but i feel like i have a disadvanted in regular osu since i'm left handed but i'm playing games with right hand on mouse... i bought tablet to aim with my left hand (finally) but i'm 24 years old already, so i'm QUITE used to using my right hand to aim (yet i got better with left hand in only a month). i don't even have friends who would play these kind of games with me >.
