Wow its 40 seconds long? Must mean hes incradibly consistant and not just lucky right?! Oh wait there is not a single stream o_o? Vs. Oh... he fcd a map that is ment to be challenging and hard, so he needs actual skill and not just luck! What its a 4 minutes map O_O?! 222 bpm deathstreams for 4 minutes straight? he must have incredible stamina and consistancy, which he proves by having only 5x100 on cs 5 on a long stram map. As i said: the play itself is impressive, i couldnt do it in 100 years, neither am i saying that anyone else could easily do it. I hope u understand my point: For that "little" effort you get way too much reward.

Just a story: I met fieryrage years ago on a server called TeamInterrobang TTT for Garry's Mod. I was never really close to the guy, not really friends, just acquaintances, but I lost contact with him years ago and just didn't reconnect with him because we hardly talked anyway. We were friends on Steam but that was about it. Fast forward probably six years, this is my first time even seeing his username again. I never knew that he was a prevalent osu! player. Probably nobody cares, but I just found it to be such a coincidence for this video to randomly appear in my feed only to talk about fiery.

Its actually crazy how ruthless osu is with its combo based pp system,, if you choke right at the end you get like 10% less pp and if you shitmiss at the middle you basically get nothing, in other rythm games its the players themselves that set this kind of standard of needing high combo and the least amount of misses possible to get to the top of the leaderboards, on osu however, the game itself enforces this LOL

I mean tbf, that's not the only 1k pp chokes. Cookeizi choked 1k pp way back before I think either 800 or 900 pp was even a thing. Yomi Yori with HD. The only real reason on why he didn't mention Freddie's I assume. And along with other 1kpp chokes. Besides Lonely go. Wasn't because it was like "PP CHOKE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IT" but because he broke another pp record which was basically getting closer to 1kpp. Not because it could have been a 1kpp play. But because it was another pp record which meant it was that much closer to breaking the barrier since it was only 28 pp off. So say if Lonley go was a fail, it probably wouldn't have made it to the video because it wasn't the final pp count and wasn't a pp record.

If the 2 plays you use as evidence for this were the pp record at some point, there’s no need to bring up a player that still hasn’t even broken the 1k barrier. He’s still insanely good but there was no real need for him in this video

And bringing up a record is still relevant ot the topic because it's about how the PP barrier died. If you just went straight to the moment it was broken then it's not really a story. After, this is for entertainment purposes. And even if it wasn't, it's about the progression of how people were getting closer and closer to striking down that barrier but eventually gave up hope. It was always a controversial topic even before 900pp was even a thing. And that's what this video is dicussing is those controversial moments.

I really liked the video, but I think that underestimating HRHDDT'ing short maps plays isn't pretty wise considering that only the best players (WhiteCat, FGSky, Micca, etc) where the ones who could pull such scores off. - 4:47 in here you mention that Tsukinami wasn't short or difficulty spike oriented, as an argument to prove that Tsukinami +HDDT was better than JUSTadICE +HRHDDT for example. - 8:42 you explain that the hardest part of the map was at the end, because it had a difficulty spike with jumps, spaced streams, etc. In here you are contradicting your former explanation as to why Tsukinami +HDDT was a better score than a short HRHDDT fieryrage map. My point being that it doesn't matter how lenghty the map is, or how spaced the streams are, only the best osu! players can achieve 1000+ pp scores, and no one should try to compare said scores with eachother, because it makes the community toxic and agressive. Each and every single one of them are impressive on their own, so there's no need; like I said before, to underestimate those plays. The video was extremely well done, I really like your narration, and how well transitioned it is, you should keep doing similar content, have a nice day.

I think you make a great point when you say I shouldn't be comparing scores, and I'll make sure not to do that in the future. the reason I did it was because writing the script I was looking at how many comments there were that said something like "I can't believe the first 1k wasn't on lonely go" and other things of a similar nature, which is why I still think it needed to be in the video but if I phrased it differently maybe something more like "the community was growing tired of shorter maps being the pp record because they were seen as easier mostly because of their replay-ability." It would have been a reflection of the community's thoughts and not a direct comparison. I agree with you that all of the 1000pp plays are super impressive no matter their length but it seems like much of the community doesn't think that way and I feel like that did need to be expressed, but in a different way. Thank you for your feedback, It will help me a lot on my next video :)
