I’ve liked the look of this car since it was first released. Compared to the 3008 the interior is conventional but overall I prefer it.

Just got one, perfect for 2 kids and a dog, looks good and functional on the inside - downgraded my last car to get this as it wont bother me too much with these cloth seats getting covered in sweets and crisps. Ticks all the boxes for us

Got an 19 plate grandland and it's nice. The mobile projection is a great feature and comes with a lot of tec. I got the tech line with the black roof and cant fault it atm

Does it have all wheel drive ? If not its pointless. An Astra will do just as well in snow.

@Faddy Oraha yea I still have it. And still can't fault it. Looking into getting the new grandland and getting the ultimate. Great car and smooth ride. I've had no issues

Strange how Peugeot 3008 has the same petrol engine and regarded as award winning car & engine, yet the Grandland is considered rather dull!

Only thing I can fault on mine is the gearbox noisey and change not good .Vehicle very quiet ,quick enough for our roads very economical.Plenty of room not as flash as Peugeot by that’s down to taste .Shame press are so biase against Vauxhall.must be paid by other makers.

Dave At least you didn't get a Peugeot. I used to work for a Vauxhall dealer, they are decent cars and good value but not seen as fashionable by the motoring press.

55mpg? with the 1.2 130bhp turbo? Bullshit. I have been driving a brand new crossland x with that engine and auto box and I have averaged 47mpg and the crossland x will be a lot lighter and more aerodynamic.

No 4x4 system equals no interest for us. We live in the country and got cut off this winter, my wife also has to take the car to the stables down a rutted steep track. Intelligrip won’t be enough. Smacks of cost cutting. Oh...and people in fwd SUVs with front wheels spinning uselessly in snow look stupid!!

Take a look on KZbin at the Peugeots fitted with the Intelligrip system driving up Ski Slopes and out dragging 4X4s on frozen lakes. Its a clever system.

Front wheel drive SUVs are embarrassing and pointless. An ordinary hatchback will do better in poor conditions with better tyres, and are lighter so less chance of getting bogged down.

Avoid it !! Got my 19 plate today and already regret it. Very poor dashboard comparing with Mokka...computer is a disaster ! You cannot see anything ...its impossible to adjust the brightness and display of outside temperature is a joke. Completely invisible white font on grey background. In general is poor design and wish to get my Mokka back.

You can adjust the brightness… and that’s the sort of thing you should have known before buying just by sitting in the car on the showroom…

Worst name for a car in a long time. It wont hold its value and then you will simply lose money by trading it in for another trendy but pointless car after 2 or 3 years. Why don't people just get one good car that does everything they need and keep it long term ? Why would you want to pay monthly for a car for the rest of your life ? Its just stupidity. Pay it off and stop wasting money. Best advice is to get a Subaru Forester if you really think you need an SUV (which most people don't), but at least it should last you 20 years. To be honest, the 2 litre new shape Impreza hatchback does exactly the same and its cheaper. Stop being fashion victims !
