Nice review! I've had this car since May last year. I love how it combines a sporty and very good looking appearance with practicality such as leg space in the back seat and large trunk with hachback opening. By the way, V in german are pronounced as F so it's Forsprung.

@@rivervalegroup Coming from 2017 A4 which I loved very much...but this A5 does it for me..it looks fantastic , couldn't be happier. Not thrilled with the display, liked the rotary knob but I deal with it . Wireless car play is very nice. Keep up your great reviews...love them !

Hi. Thanks for the video. I’m bit torn between the a5 40tfsi and BMW 420i . 420 is 10% cheaper than the 40tfsi. I’m wondering if you’d recommend it over the BMW? Performance is obviously a big consideration. I like the audi because it’s not common in where I live, gorgeous exterior but IMO the BMW is more beautiful in the inside. What’s your take on this? The Audi is much cheaper to maintain and body style is nicer. We have 2020 and a 2022 but was disappointed in the 2022 has only 201 hp.

Got it on a fantastic covid deal. Did around 44mpg but I did a lot of urban driving. Nicest car I've ever had. Got a BMw430d now but I miss the Audi. Much nicer car

Great review! So just to clarify, the concerns around suspension/road noise are best addressed by avoiding the sportier S line version - correct? I'm not doing huge mileage (less than 20k km/year) - should I go with petrol 190PS 40 TFSI version? Also given the length of this video, I'd suggest putting thumbnails in description to make it easier for viewers to find key nuggets of info.

The only problem I have is that it's a sportback and has a hatchback tailgate. If it had a regular boot I'd want it. But it has a hatchback tailgate and so I don't like it. I know the coupe has a regular boot but it only has two doors whereas I'd want 4. So neither is perfect for me.

The 40TFSI is not 190PS, it was increased to 204PS last year. Judging by how much of the script is identical, you've obviously largely copied your A4 review from last year over to this model without checking details such as this which is rather lazy to be honest.

It may have been 190PS at the time of filming but you both could be right as it did increase at some point last year.

The 204PS upgrade was introduced with the 2021 model year and thus all cars ordered from around July 2020 onwards would have been that spec. If the review was filmed prior to this date with a 2020 model year vehicle then it's basic due diligence to check what's changed before publication as all manufacturers make various changes each year. As I said, the script for this review is largely identical to that of the A4 review released in May last year. Copy/pasting a review from nine months ago without checking for changes is lazy.
