Ran my '62 Chevy Bel Air Bubble Top there. Great little track for the local crowd to hang at and run. Fond Sunday memories of the summers '68 and '69 running our neighborhood Chevys.

Jewel at Orchard and Rt 34 has photos of the city of Oswego on the walls, but not one of the dragstrip, and they are nearly sitting on it.

As a competitor in SS/ C with a 11 Seconds Time. From 1966 -1968 Raced are. TWO VEHICLES, ONE was a Steel WILLY'S with Holes Drill every Foot and Half to reduce weight to make it faster. The other ONE was a1966, Oldsmobile 98 LS Four Door it RAN IN THE HIGH 12 OR LOW 13'S. HAD TRAILERS for Both Cars and Lived in Chicago, Illinois, in Back of The Yards NEIBORHOOD. Chris Carimcen can't spell GREEK NAMES, the Flower Pot an GAS COPE, CHI-TOWN HUSTERLAR FUNNY CAR AND SEVEN OTHERS that lived in a TEN MILE AREA. From 31 Street to 79th. STREET FROM KEDIES AVENUE TO HALSTED STREET.
