This is very beautiful. I remember listening to Soldier Side after recently getting back from Iraq. I was driving on the highway at night with my wife. She’s not really into that kind of music and probably would’ve preferred to shut it off. I knew she was listening to the words when I looked over and saw her crying. It was a strange feeling because in that moment I felt like she understood how I felt.

I can´t forget the day, back in 2003 when i was on my way to see them play in Coimbra, Portugal, and i had the privilege of stoping in a gas staion on the way to Coimbra, and then there they were, SOAD, in a white Ford Transit, also stoping at the same time.... Usually I'm blasting metal but occasionally we will have customers who come in to look at our granite and quart samples. I laughed when this popped up on my feed, because how can SOAD be "relaxing" regardless of what instrument is playing it... but this is beautiful. I never would've expected these songs could be this lovely. Amazing work.
