40 years of Gundam/Gunpla History summed up in just ONE Amazing build. (Otaku I Hope you see my post, your the one who introduced me to Building Gunpla, before I was struggling with Anger Issues and anxiety. When building my kits, I just feel calmer and better. Thank You for Building and Inspiring us all.)

Always, always, always, take 50% deposit my friend! I do custom work all the time and the commission doesn't start until the client has paid the deposit. The item ships right after the balance is paid. As a fellow artist it is devastating to pour blood, sweat, and tears into a project for nothing. I have been burned once, and that was one time too many, thankfully all of my clients since have been great! Water under the dam, and karma has a way of rewarding the innocent. I am starting to work on SD Gundam models and have learned so much from you, so I appreciate your hard work and videos Otaku! Thank you so much.

I'm about to build my Mega Size gramps and had to revisit all the reviews. I think this is the first time I've watched this in its entirity. (I've been subscribed for more than a year though). To say that this is a passion project is understated. The blood sweat and tears you put into this is palpable. I was moved to glassy eyes when you shared your being scammed. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Not only is the build inspiring, the story of trying to redeem a part of you moved me to an a couple of sniffles. Good ones. Cheers mate, and be well.

Hmmm, interesting for me to see other trades doesn't have the mandatory practice of pay up front of at least getting a deposit? In carpentry and sell of goods in general I am non negotiable on getting paid, you can tell I had my fair share of getting ripped off, and still there are other ways that people can screw with your business, I watch your videos coz I can relate to the effort and crafsmanship. Sorry to here that but sometimes there is also just the one way to learn. Really enjoy your work, hats off for that.

beautiful rx 78 2, i would have ran the entry for the wires through one of the feet instead of the crotch though so it could be alittle more hidden, then maybe have a base it can stand on and hide the battery pack under that

Your work and video are great! I'm just starting out and you are inspiring me. I have a couple of questions though. Why do you prefer to use the primers out of the can rather than using air brush primers? And why do you switch out between black primer, white primer and the finishing surfacer 1500?

This is stunning, the effort and detail that go into something like this. If I had the patience to build something even half this good, the only thing I'd change is the pre-shading. I don't know why, but pre-shading seems too artificial to me, more of a cool stylistic choice than a realistic detail. Old military and industrial equipment doesn't weather like that, nor does equipment in current use. Truth be told, I'm not entirely certain what approach I might use instead. Maybe I'd start by looking into techniques used by military model painters.

I am very new to gunpla building and I had aquick question. How would you go about doing the preshadowing on an HG model? I am looking for tips on the technique you use and it looks simple enough but you are working on a Mega Size model, I doubt I can use the same techniques on a 1/144 piece.

Awesome! What kind of top coat do you recommend on acrylic paint? I've been using vallejo acrylic satin but I find that it's very easy to get fingerprints on the surface even have the top coat was fully cured. :-(

So quick question about a little detail I noticed. The green and red lights in the shoulders. Did you do that as a sort of nod to boating and sailing? I know on boats you need to be on certain sides of one another when moving forward, was this a subtle nod to that sort of thing?
