@@jamesb0255elite portal players don’t come from every position every year. It’s great but not perfect. Look at QB this year. DJ is really good not elite. The WRs are both unproven. The TE we got has been average. The OL have been average. The DE I’ll give credit has been elite. DTs have been really good. LBs average. DBs really good to be fair.

We will land a top 10 class but man we have to get better at landing some of these elite guys to get these top 5 classes and win championships with, I want the best players in the country in Garnet and Gold Jimbo and Bobby did a great job at closing on these elite recruits,Norvell must improve on that.

Norvell is better with the portal, once guys have matured a little. Not worried too much about recruiting CMN has it covered. Don't care if our class is rated #1 or #101, we don't hang banners for recruiting.

There's a lots to say about the old addage "If you snooze you loose"! I don't like waiting to the last minute to get your recruits! FSU looses more than they get by this process! Look at who we have lost by playing the easy guy just wanting the recruits to make the right decision! This is a dog eat dog world and when you continually play nice, you loose!!!

If FSU sleeps on the connection between Trammel Jones and uf then Norvell should take heat for this. It’s clear that this kid has some affinity for hogtown. If by some miracle uf manages to have a decent season and sunbelt hillbilly keeps his job, I would be shocked if Jones doesn’t flip.

You negative Nancy's always trip me out this time of year. 3 years ago we weren't even getting visited by elite athletes. Now we're on their minds. Once we win a championship in the next 3 years or so... High school recruiting will not be a problem anymore. Also being out of the ACC will help greatly.

Yeah we’re getting better still have to close. Will definitely help to get out the ACC but that’s not the excuse

Portal….. here we come. This coaching staff is not very good at recruiting and everyone can see it happening. Miami and UF are terrible and have just as good if not better recruiting classes. There are plenty of coaching positions on the staff that need immediate upgrades.
