It's a tool, the logo wearing off wouldn't bother me either as long as it works. I need to get me one of these, the spare flint keeper is my favorite piece, I use rc fuel tubing to store a couple extra flints in the glove box of the car though lol. Great show and tell bud! ✌

I've have been using a eyedrop bottle for my extra fluid, but I like that Zippo one a lot. Going to have to pick one up. Great review. Happy holidays.

I got one. Soon after I bought it, I put teflon tape for gas on the threads. The fuel stayed in there for a very long time.

I got 1 stayed in my bag for like a year or 2 when i opened it it was half full from when i last filled it

I love my "Zippin Os" as this old Cajun wanderer is fond of sayin, but recently for outdoor applications I'm fond of the Exotac TitanLight, or the Maratac XL Peanut in brass or titanium. They don't just evaporate as long as you maintain the O rings. I love these little canisters, only problem I seem to have is sometimes you may have problems separating the thing to refill it. Needs knurling😂

Do you carry a pair of pliers in your bag? In case you need to access the flint.

Its a "possibles" bag , a "haver sack" right DF?😂😂 I might "possibly" need that and I'd rather "haver" with me than not, kinda like another tool ya have to load and be responsible with😂same with a good belt knife or khukuri etc. Life gets real when you get cold and dehydrated in the woods, or run up on a wild hog😂

Do people really scoff at you for using zippos? I barely started getting into Zippo and I love it. The lighter makes me feel classy.

I don’t know if people scoff but most people don’t have the patience anymore to refuel their lighter every five to ten days. They’d rather use a plastic disposable that is horrible for the environment.✌️

Hi Joe, I bought the tank in 2014, but I have never used it. I bought it, just because I am an avid collector. Of course I checked that the gasoline does not evaporate, and I was very satisfied. I have always loved gasoline lighters, and I could never replace them with gas ones, and even less with piezoelectric ones. Ironically, they seem to want to replace petrol and diesel cars with 4-wheel electric toys, which are also very expensive. I am really disgusted with certain environmental policies.
