Zombies Garden Warefare), EA Tiburon/Sports (Rory McIlroy PGA Tour), ... See the common thread? This is one of EAs competitive edges, let the others sweat for some years while EA builds games not only better looking but also with better performance...

Roger Larsson I guess so but they still need to make good games I'm not just going to get it because of pretty graphics. Don't get me wrong SWB3 is a good game for what it is but it's pretty damn dull. There's only like 5 maps the air supremacy mode was pretty pointless might as well have stuck with old game modes that people found fun. Like the conquest mode and the space battles. In air supremacy you fly around and then a transport flies through every so often then you shoot it. At least in the old space battles there was an objective from the start of the game destroy the enemy ship. How you do it is up to you. That's my rant about the game but yeah back to the technology. Knowing EA I was thinking they would auction off this technology because they didn't meet their mark on SWB3. Movie studios might want in when creating environments possibly you know they're a buck to be made there. Or they could just wait for their competition to figure out how to make it. Like smartphones Apple invented it but the competition quickly caught on.

EA is one of the first, if not only, companies that made the transition to a next generation game engine. I think it is more likely that EA begins to use Frostbite also for all sports games than to sell it off. If rumours can be trusted Frostbite is already in use in the movie industry (ILMxLab) what happens if that is true.

Why they didn't make KOTOR 3 with this graphics instead of a shitty revival of Battlefront? Wasted opportunity.
