This song is my heart. It has so many memories. I watched her warm up from a bridge playing it then ran with last minute tickets to see it performed. It got me through a very hard death. And when I go it’s what I’d want played as I go. It is the most beautiful song I can think of to want to hear last.

I think this may be one of the biggest hidden gems in irish music. Like if you never came across this song 10+ years ago, there's a chance you never will. I hope some movie or tv show blows this up so more people can enjoy this

The night this aired on Irish TV, I was in the middle of night two of a three-day drink and drugs binge, got a taxi from the pub to my apartment in Cork City to pick up "something" so that I could sell the "something" to people I was about to continue the sesh with, ran in, ran into my bedroom to collect the something, and was about to run back out the door as the opening chords to this performance began. It stopped me in my tracks. I stood there very quietly for 4 minutes while the taxi waited, and when she was finished, I turned to my flatmate and said "Christ. Who was that?" He told me. I realized I had seen her on TV before, performing with Damian Rice. For the next week or so I was madly in love with this girl. I've only seen this performance maybe twice since that night 14-15 years ago, but I think I may still be in love with her.😄That voice, and that face...it's almost too much. She's crazy talented, and stunning.

such an outstanding and full of emotions performance. She does not need to show any bodypart to be "successful" like most of woman "artists" nowadays. She has such pure and sincere talent and she does not need to win a grammy for me to know that she is already an incredible artist.
