I would be interested to learn if I can adjust deeper level settings in the hearing aid to experiment with getting the best out of the aid. I have the oticon more 1. I work in a prison which is a very noisy environment, it would be useful for me to be able to adjust the setting to see what works best.

The options shown in video are available only without connect mode, once device is connected to hearing aid, only volume updown option is available. App improvement is needed. eg. setting save option from app itself.

This is a wonderful app. I am amazed that there is so much on offer. However, I with there was a basics version that my elderly mother could use. This app has far more feature than she can deal with and in this kind of setting, what she wants to do is just simply adjust the volume. When she hits the wrong button by mistake she is completely frustrated. Given so many elderly people need hearing aids, I am surprised there is not a simply analogue option, a small device with a simple knob on it. That is what elderly people need. Let me know if there is an option designed for the elderly/not tech friendly.

Great video and explanation! Can the Oticon App be used to turn the Oticon Siya 1 on/off or enable airplane mode thus disabling the Bluetooth function of the hearing aid? Also …. does pairing the hearing aid with the Oticon On app draw any battery power from the hearing aid battery thus affecting how long the battery will last? Thanks in advance.

Hi! I understand that my hearing aids are connected to my phone so that I can adjust the hearing through the app on my device (phone), but I don't like getting notifications from my phone through my hearing aids. Or how I can't listen to a video on my phone normally anymore, it just plays through my hearing aid. How can I fix this? Thank you!

How do I connect to a hearing loop system eg in lecture room? That’s what the telecoil does, right? My audiologist doesn’t seem to know.

Yes, you need to use a hearing aid telecoil program to hear the sound from the hearing loop system. The telecoil is also used to hear on a phone without feedback. Thanks for watching the video!

It is very difficult to pair my Oticon REAL 3 with the Oticon Companion app. It takes forever. And when actually connected, it sometimes drops the connection. Any suggestions/ideas?

In my experience, the Oticon Companion app is horrible in the Bluetooth connectivity/pairing department. Very annoying. Sent an email to Oticon and absolutely no response.

Can I get the app to save the Streaming equalizer settings? Within the Streaming equalizer tab, I clicked on "HOW TO USE," under the "How to restore default settings" heading is this text: "The app remembers your settings as long as it is active. " Does that mean that each time the app quits, the settings are lost?

Every three months, my hearing aid go off, and the app does not acess any features. When I go to a shop to get it working again, they access the computor, enter a code and the app works again. I think they may be cheating me. I pay expensive, every time this happens. Can anyone bring light into this?? Thank you in advance.

How come I can't get out of the demo mode?

Demo mode may continue until your hearing aids are paired with the phone. Close the app, re-pair the hearing aids, open the app, and then try again to exit demo mode. Thanks for watching!

My app does NOT have the environmental setting on either Speech in noise or on my clip. ALSO the on app had Tinnitus setting. That I loved. Does not work on this app.. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.. I just switched to the real. But. Am taking them back. Swapping. Out. To thr intent. I HOPE the INTENT 1. Wil work better. With this APP

This app sucks. Alway going out and locking up. Did it with Oticon More and now with my Oticon Owns. Contacted IOticon technical department and sent them many screen shots. They have done nothing about it.

I did. Same thing. My wife got an iPhone 11. Cured her problem. Stinks when this thing was written for IOS 15 and still is, which is where they stopped support on the iPhone 7.
