There is a 12 story parking structure nearby which has two Otis Gen 2 MRL the hoist ropes are attached to the side of the cab plus a 2nd set on the opposite side, which makes me wonder it's not MRL as the counterweight had a compensating sheave maybe a deflector sheave. Rode to 12th level but did not see an gear less MRL machine anchored to the shaft wall. Plus looks like there is a machine room at the top.

You have to wire it to the high speed to be super full speed. This is wired to the low speed disconnect terminal.
