Hey jim! The scenic glass elevators are very amazing and attractive because they show a beautiful view of the city of Atlanta. You can see some hotels like Mariott Marquis, Hyatt Regency, Hilton, etc. and a lot of skyscrapers. These elevators are too slow for a 72 storey hotel because they don't go as fast as the high-rise banks ( guest floors : 45-72 ). This thing's a beauty.

I rode this elevator once, up only. Scared the crap out out of me! As soon as it went outside the building, I turned around and faced the door. The hostess of the restaurant met us at the top. First thing I said was "Is there an inside elevator to take back down?" Luckily, there was. Did get to see 4th of July fireworks from up there on the 5th of July. They had been rained out the night before. The floor above the restaurant doesn't rotate, so we had a great view of Centennial Park.
