Otis Mod Logic lift at Cavendish House, Cheltenham

Filmed in 2018. This lift is situated around the corner from the 2nd old Otis lift which has been abandoned for quite a few years. I have a feeling that the bigger lift was a service lift but now a passenger lift. That could also have been an old Otis, but in 2005 Otis had their hands on it and modernised it with Mod Logic. It looks very basic inside, it's quite slow, but the addition of vandal resistant buttons inside is nice, along with the older Drucegrove voice. To be honest, this lift doesn't excite me and I would take that other old Otis over it any day.

There used to be a very cool 80s glass Evan’s hydraulic lift in the main centre of Cheltenham. I remember it fondly and it was quite cool with the wide view of the shopping centre when travelling in it 😅 have you filmed it?
