Jesus Christ it is so crazy how hard it this to collect SPG!

At least there will be a 1:64 chance to open them from 8-card packs for future sets. It's not much, but little help is better than nothing. Also, a lot of the SPGs are cards that already exist on Arena, often with lower rarity. This means it's not necessary to collect them all, and the duplicates are just kind of card styles that can be redeemed with wildcards.

@@Padishar7 Well yes, but the mh3 spg cards are 10 mythic rares of which nine do not exist on Arena and they are all staples in modern and legacy so I will need them for timeless too. I am f2p so I will do like 10 drafts and spend the rest on packs to get wildcards

@artificialfreedom Oh yes, I forgot the MH3 SPGs being really different and much more important than the ones from MKM and OTJ.

Aren't you worried that at some point you will run out of gems? Seems like you've burnt through quite a lot this set

It is a real concern, but I'll re-evaluate if/when the gem balance goes below 50k or something. I have now 15k fewer gems than I had pre-OTJ, which is the largest drop during one set that I've experienced. I hope it was an isolated case of bad variance 😀
