Speaking of dogma. Are Roman Catholics required to believe in the Assumption?

Lets walk through Acts 15. In Summary the whole point of the Council of Jerusalem came about because false teachers were sent instructing newly believers they must become circumcised. The Apostles including Paul discussed this prior to the council. At the Council a great debate broke out: Peter spoke up saying : "Brethren, you know that in the early days God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. 8 And God who knows the heart bore witness to them, giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us; 9 and he made no distinction between us and them, but cleansed their hearts by faith. Notice Peter is appealing to his own personal accounts of the Holy Spirit descending upon the Gentiles in the excat same way as the Jews! Then Paul and Barnabas again discuss their experience with witnissing the Holy Spirit coming up the Gentiles in the same way as they did the Jews ( keep in mind of what it means to be Jewish: A characteristic of being a Jew was to be circumcised, To a Jew at the time all else were Gentiles (uncircumsied); all of this is in agreement with one mind keeping faithful the gospel in which they the Apostles were sent by God to preach! Then, it is James not Peter who says: Symeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, as it is written, 16 ‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the dwelling of David, which has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up, 17 that the rest of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, 18 says the Lord, who has made these things known from of old.’ Notice the appeal to scripture to also bear testimony to what Peter, James, Paul and Barnabas were saying: Now, some of you may say but look where does this appeal speak of circumcision? it is here: "the Gentiles who are called by my name" Gentiles by the very definition were NOT circumcised as a jew would be. As I noted before a characteristic of being Jewish was being circumcised after 8 days of age. Therefore, the eyewitness accounts and the appeal of scripture proves that MUST appeal to scripture. If it can NOT be substantiated in scripture it MUST be rejected!

You said once you know the church teaching on a dogma, you are now bound to believe it. But you left out the exceptions. Is someone bound to believe everything in the CCC

Unbelievers are not bound to believe anything. So, no. "Someone" is not bound to believe the CCC or any Catholic Dogma.

God has given us free will. This is what makes us human. We can choose between right and wrong, good and evil. Our Lord Jesus established His Church and His teachings, so yes, we can choose NOT to believe the things that He said, but, let's face it, that would be very foolish. A person who claims to be Catholic is expected to accept all the dogmas of the Catholic Church.

@@KennyBurchard I was referring to someone that is Catholic, that doesn’t believe a dogma or something in the CCC.

If Mary had been immaculately conceived that glorious fact would be all over the pages of scripture. It is not and she was not. One other thing. What's the point? Mary does not need to be immaculate in that manner. All to the contrary, she needs to be 100% human, original sin and all. Here I include Augustine's comments from his "On Merits and Forgiveness of Sins". "... there never has existed, nor ever will exist, a human being of whom, placed in this life of ours, it could be said that he had no sin at all, with the exception of the one Mediator, who reconciles us to our Maker through the forgiveness of sins." And again… Augustine (354-430): "Let us hold fast, then, the confession of this faith, without filtering or failure. One alone is there who was born without sin, in the likeness of sinful flesh, who lived without sin amid the sins of others, and who died without sin on account of our sins... Of course this highly quoted Church Father was referring to the Blessed One, the Son of God.

"...that glorious fact would be all over the pages of scripture..." Not true. And Sacred Scripture itself tells us that! Take a look at the last paragraph in St. John's account of the Gospel. A comment like this could only come from an adherent to Sola Scriptura.

Good morning Tony! Did you even listen to the video? I think it would help you understand the nature of Christianity and authority in Christ's Church. He starts by referencing Acts 15.

says the guy who does not mind changing the Bible by adding words to it and then claiming he is telling the truth. Not once you have proven that I am wrong in my arguments that you don't believe Jesus has the power to have fulfilled His promises of never leaving His disciples alone and unprotected, yet for nearly sixteen centuries all of his disciples who listened and obeyed those He left in charge of feeding and taking care of His sheep, in your delusions were deceived by Jesus because they listened to the fallen Church. The same Church that spread the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire and beyond its borders to the entire world. In your fantasy Christianity was spread by a fallen Church. I told you many times already, a truth (the Bible other than the TDUV or RTDUV versions that you have quoted in the past) and a lie (your false claims about what the Catholic Church teaches) do not make a logical True statement. Your claims are thus FALSE as all the other claims about prophethood of that tool of Satan called Helen White in whom you have more credibility than on Jesus' own words and promises.
