The music after the shelf reflection really reminds me of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Good nostalgia with the cooking :)

I’m so glad you didn’t throw the tomato skins out! They’re enhanced by toast, Toum, and olive oil! Did I mention that the soup looks delectable?

My mouth was watering as I watched this. What a good idea for the tomato skins

I made this today to stock the freezer with COVID survival food . It was sooo delicious. Impressed myself by having a frozen Parmesan crust in my freezer. Miracles do happen. Great recipe.thankyou. 😀👍

So so good. Loved the music too. If I were 30 years younger I might have applied for a job at OTK. 😊 My food processor packed up and, very sadly, I can’t make toum anymore until I get a new one. I’ve improvised toum by adding a whole lot of crushed garlic into mayo.

Could this be batch cooked and then frozen? Looks terrific!

Sure, just leave out the pasta.

Made this soup 4 times already. So flavourful!
@candeevaniderstine80643 жыл бұрын
just made this. It was very tasty and will serve MUCH more than 4 persons! I never did find the parmesan rind. I used less salt but it was fine with no added salt. I prefer the chicken pieces a bit smaller than "large shreds". The tomato and parmesan really added to the taste. It was not my mamma's chicken soup but was still delicious.

I always put tomato in my chicken soup. That's what makes it really tasty.

My broth boiled down so much I had just over 1 litre for the rest of the recipe. What to do?
@Ottolenghi2 жыл бұрын
This just means you have a very concentrated stock so add more water and adjust seasoning if needed. Enjoy!
@lesleyreitmeyer68453 жыл бұрын
During the video they didn't take out the rind. Would we just leave it in and toss it later?
@Ottolenghi3 жыл бұрын
The rind can definitely be left in and tossed later. Even better, put the cooked rind under the grill, it makes for a delicious, chewy snack.

Please, don’t waste anything! What happened to the chicken skin! Can it be gribenes? And there’s always compost.
