I have used this tool for a forced Regen a couple of times and once to reset fault codes. I am sure that I am not using this tool to it's capacity but will do more as I play and learn. One real good thing that I like about this is that I can see any issues before I take it into the shop and be able to identify any mysterious work or repairs that were not needed. I also like the fact that I can walk into a shop with information that lets them know ahead of time that I have the ability to diagnose or identify any issues before they can fabricate one or blow it out of proportion creating a higher repair bill. With what shops are gouging out of truck owners today this tool makes me feel more confident when questioning work performed or proposed work. One great improvement I would like to see is the ability to email the reports to myself or a shop. I do plan on trying to do a lot of work on my own using OTR Performance as a guide.

Most of the times the fault codes are just bullshit, they just need deleted, and this tool is super nice.

I wish this OTR device tells you how to replace those parts as well I mean I hope someday OTR builders put in that program as well in this device then I will buy one for all my trucks

Changing perimeters on trucks need to be added. Like curis control set, Speed, etc

Looking at the OTR Diagnostics | Pro Package on the OTR website it shows a annual subscription. So my question is ... what happens if you don't renew? Is it like Cummins INSITE and becomes a paperweight after subscription ends? Or will it still work at least on one model truck? We own Volvos all with Cummins ISX. So we don't need coverage for other manufacturers. Can i get a clear answer on this? Your competitor, CanDo does not require renewal of subscription to keep full functionality. However OTR UI is much better.

The tool's renewal is the gateway to everything you can and will be able to do with our app. From monthly updates, and new features like just added such as SCR efficiency tests, to future capabilities like speed changes, renewing the tool's access is what makes everything possible. Without it comes limitations to our software and our ability to add to the app as time goes on. You would have to renew your tool's access (subscription) yearly, to use the software in our app. If you don't renew it, you will limit the app to only fault code reading. I would like to put this to the test. Currently my shop has genuine Volvo Tech Tool, Cummins Insite and Paccar Davie diagnostic tools. I have yet to see a aftermarket diagnostic software actually reset certain derates. For example can this actually reset the EGR derate and DEF derate in a Paccar MX13 engine? So far I found only the genuine Davie tool can do this. Even after repairs are made you must reset the derate in the Paccar ECM. Interesting but skeptical at the same time. The P1515 Paccar 5 mph derate code is a little difficult to remove. You need to reset the DEF derate in Davie then drive the truck until the derate clears.
