New to Channel - Was just surfing for some Winota gameplay as I try to tune my deck somewhere between cEDH and not cEDH. Anyway I dropped by the comments to say that the Winota player missed a Winota trigger the turn he cast her as a goblin attacked which would have caused Winota to fish for a human. it is what makes her so powerful. You can rack up triggers the turn she comes out.

Can't ever take it easy on the reanimator deck. As soon as he was discarding those big creatures that should have set off red flags. Good game.

Yeah I think I totally forgot that he had binned the first card he did. Thats what did us in.

@@InResponseEDH Yeah nobody bins Temur Sabertooth unless they play on reanimating it lol. That and he went for Dockside on his Buried Alive tutor, all kinds of red flags lol. But yeah reanimator decks are sneaky at looking harmless missing land drops, etc. When in reality that's what you want to do for your game plan lol.

Was such a fun game… then Kenrith just did Kenrith stuff. I guess it was very much just completely on dockside just being such a near busted card. Wanted to see more mutate shenanigans.

Aaron has been creeping into cEDH territory lately. Trust me I’m watching closely. Normally we play power level 7-8. With quite a few 2 card combos showing up from time to time

Yes, they ETB effects will still trigger as they enter with Winota's ability. The only effects that would not is if the creature has a "When this creature attacks" trigger. Those are only seen when declaring attackers. Not after they've been put on the field tapped and attacking. Hope that helps

I don’t think it’s too big an issue. When we play in person we usually use infini tokens, but over spelltable against unknown decks we don’t know what we’ll need right off the bat. Thanks for watching tho. Hope that didn’t completely ruin the experience

Interesting game until infinity ruins it. Casual EDH should not include infinite combos.

We are all entitled to our opinions so I can respect that. I would agree with you if we were playing battle cruiser kitchen table magic. Our group plays higher powered commander and we welcome fast mana, infinite combos and more. But no deck featured is on the level of cEDH.
