He is saying, that you have to play slow and further behind the line. I Tell my students to play next to the white line. Than the defender has to decide to play with or without the Wall. If i play always slow behind the line the defender can play better Lobs!? Whats your opinion?

I tell my students the same, but if I am volleying crosscourts I do not mind that they play a bit deeper.
