I didnt realize the hips played such a big part in our volleys (they should at least, and i don't think i use my hips enough in my volleys), this will make me play better this AM for sure !

Off-topic question: is the ball out of play when it hits the edge between the field and the glass/fence? It looks like the ball drops dead, but of it hit the glass first, the ball would bounce differently

You are proberly hitting below the ball, or too open. Try to hit less slice and prepare higher

Great tips, but I think for the average player it’s in most cases too risky to play the dropshot.

It all depends on the quality of your shots. Some people have a good smash some have great volleys

ohhh those final step-ins are nice! I should do that more often. When you're sure opponent can't really hit a proper lob anymore, step in and boooom, over the fence.
