My 2023 peterbuilt started having egr codes, so they told us that the egr valve was defective or damaged, only 200k miles on it, so we started doing our own diagnostics and guess what, the problem was de mesh flexible pipe, it was broken but couldn’t see it because of the mesh, so the system wasn’t building enough pressure and was giving false codes.. so my advice is to check the exhaust system for any leaks before taking it to the mechanic.. you could save thousands..

At around what soot % level should the truck start doing an active or passive regen?

What if i use truck my truck local and keeps asking an active regen but truck does a lot of stops. Is there a way to remove this regen?

Hello! Fault code 520349 FMI 14 is the DPF Filtration Efficiency Low/ Soot sensor detects elevated soot accumulation. Here are 3 reasons why this may be going off: 1.
