Honestly Jeff, I've felt the same way over the last year. I don't know if it's just because I'm older now, or if it's because it feels like the paradigm has shifted to such a degree, but I'm beginning to feel like my days as a "big wrestling fan" are slowly starting to wind down. But either way, thank you for being my favorite KZbin Wrestling Commentator for all of these years! OTRSCentral will forever be "Not the Wrestling Show We Want, Just the Wrestling Show We Need".

The smarkbusters are gone. Otrs is retiring at the end of the year, and PSpower only shows up for one video a year. I used to be pretty active in wrestling forums up until about 5 years ago. Stopped watching SB's around 2021 (I think they had stopped putting out videos around then anyway). Only watch OTRS out of curiosity when he uploads every so often. And I can honestly go months or even over a full year without watching a PPV or a weekly TV program. Wrestling is so dead now. The mid 2010's look outstanding by comparison.

I had to come back to this video- because this is how I have been feeling for some time. Just like with video games, it's more fun to share your enjoyment and experiences with some things with others. The fandom in pro wrestling is no different. Maybe because I'm in my 40s too, but it's been a struggle to keep up with the wrestling scene lately. I hardly watch the top 10 Raw/SD/NXT moments videos like I used to. Barely look at any AEW highlights videos. This maybe my "last ride" with pro wrestling as a fan. Let's see how this year goes. Thanks for the videos, Jeff.

Just wanted to say that I've loved your channel since around 2013-2014. You're the only dude that still makes sense. I'm kind of the same as you in that I haven't enjoyed modern wrestling for a long time. But I used to at least feel a sense of comraderie with other fans because we could all agree that modern wrestling sucks and we could make fun of it. But now, so many fans have lowered their standards so much that they believe this stuff is great. And even worse, they've deluded themselves into believing that wrestling is bigger/more popular than ever before which is laughable. You're the only fan I can watch and still think "He gets it." You've provided years of entertainment for me. I hope you change your mind, but if not, I totally understand.

I’ve lost a lot of my interest in wrestling too. There was a brief period earlier this year when The Rock came back and I got excited about wrestling again, it felt great. Then that quickly faded and I stopped watching Raw and Smackdown. It’s not even that the product is bad, I just find it uninteresting. I do think getting older is a factor. Strangely though I still enjoy NXT when I watch it, and that is arguably the most youthful product in wrestling.

You're one of the few and last wrestling reviewers left from the early days of original KZbin and the internet wresting community. I've been subscribed to you since 2010. It's admirable that your channel had avoided the professionalisation and corporatisation of KZbin videos in to the more news channel format that we see today with a lot of wrestling channels. While I didn't always agree with you, I always appreciated your honesty and unfiltered perspectives. When December 6th 2025 comes, it will be in a lot of ways the end of an era not just for your channel, but the personal touch that came with these types of wrestling videos. I wish you all the best in the future.
