Thank you for the great video! I’ve caught untold amounts of fish on a pink worm. I don’t remember why I started using one, but was shocked by the result. In really clear water on Chilhowee I watched a fish swim at least 20 ft to go get it! Any idea what we are imitating with that color?

For shallow bank fishing, using the same basic strategy, but NEKO style for better casting distance, including the short & medium TRD worms. I may almost never go back to the traditional TX rig again. Love the way the proximal tapered end stays upright this way no matter the brand of worm or curly tail.

Thank you, Ott. I love the Stik-O worms. Suggestion for a future video: How do you choose which plastic to wacky-rig: profile, color, etc. - for various conditions. Thanks again!

Hey, Ott! Found a pack of Yum Dingers in Bubble gum and Yellow swirl. I want to try out in Wacky or Texas rigged. At my local Wal-Mart. The off colors are really hard to find. I use green pumpkin color alot. I usually start with The Yum dinger to find bass then switch to a 1.5 crank. Or the other way too. Ott Defoe. The best name in Bass fishing today! God Bless you Ott and family. Jesus is The King of Kings and Lord of Lord's. Shawn

I really the VMC type of rigging due to hook position it keeps your hook facing the right way not lining up with your bait. But now I'm going to try a 1/0 circle hook to see if it has a advantage just a fun thing to do try something different 👍 And yes I'm a Tennessee native to the bone.

Here's a tip guys . I use a 5 in Zoom finesse worm , insert a BP brass rattle in the worm sack and a 1/32 OZ lead nail weight . Finesse at its best . Just use your rod tip to rattle the worm and work it very slow on the bottom . Also works great in heavy moss / FLA type cover . Flick it along and let it drop in the holes !

Thank you for sharing! Rookie question, do you EVER use a swivel? I only have 3 decent rod/reels, bank fish mostly. Does the swivel decrease the effectiveness of whatever I'm throwing or am I just being lazy? Thx!

Ott, I do a lot of fly lining a worm on my lake here in Arkansas. Going to try the weightless wacky rig. If I use the ring does it matter as much which hook size I use? Thank's for this video ott. Are you going to be at the Bass pro shop in Missouri for the 50th anniversary sports show?🎣🐟

I noticed that BPS is phasing out the Stick-O-Worm and only have 2 colors in the 4.5" size. Is there another company that has the mold where I can purchase those worms? It is a very unique worm shape. The Reaction Innovations Pocket Rocket has a similar shape but is thinner than the BPS model. All help is most appreciated.

Hey that’s the hooks I use!!! Walmart has them!! Only question I have is do you work the worm?? Or how much before you reel it in and cast again??? Getting wacky is killer on Caddo lake where not many people are doing it!! Thanks man keep up the good work.
