Pastor Willie Watt was homeless in 2007. He's come up with an idea that will help Holland cut down its homeless numbers, but community members are pushing back.

I'm thinking about building one of these for my own personal use but mine would be bigger and I'm thinking about using tin siding so it will be more permanent on the outside and instead of using the panels Im going to add more rafters. I'm looking for old sheds and buildings that I can tear down and salvage the lumber to build it. I could use it as a shed or even a guest room. If all goes well I might build more than one on my property and rent them out as cabins since it is by a river that is a popular kayaking destination.

So hypocritical of the township! What about all the farms across west michigan that house migrant workers the same way? The township is in complete denial of a homelessness problem which is why they don't want to help these type of organizations they would rather try to sweep it under the rug!
