First of all, thank you Ottawa Citizen for posting this video. Major Gauthier has done a splendid job creating this gentlemans club style library. I myself am in the process of designing an English style Edwardian residence and was interested in the brass wall sconces with material shades Major Gauthier has fitted. If anyone knows the brand of these fittings ... or if the Major happens to see my comment, I would be very grateful to ascertain the brand name and where I could purchase them. It always makes me laugh when vulgar New Money parvenus on reality TV shows do house tours and talk about 'their library': there are never any books in it. A laugh-out-loud idea of what a library is. I wince every time.

Canada is part of the British Commonwealth. The queen is still on our money and we have a Governor General, who is her representative in Canada. Until that changes, then the Queen is more than just a figurehead in the UK to us.
