Coming from NY Town House collection. Yes, he IS RIGHT. This is the Musem house with themes of arts. And my type. I love that Indian weaving in the center wall of dining room. This is TX and wondering how he got so many arts and organized them plus house building in so fast. Impressive enough. Love that museum house esp the light, the wall and the whole architecture design are exactly as THE MUSEM in mini scale. And this is A REAL art collector. I would like to sit here to APPRICIATE each piece of arts that my eyes and brain won't feel bored instead of that tacky NY box house without book wall but MONEY, MONEY STILL MONEY. It shows this owner knows the meanings of life with a fine quality.🙂 Heehaa, TX. Should have some more American Indian arts.

Note to the homeowner, when you speak about your western art, you refer to the pieces by the artists' names. However, when you speak of your "African" art, it's just "tribal African art". At the very least, you could give the art pieces (and their creators) the respect they deserve, by mentioning the specific countries and cultures in the very vast African continent from which they emerged. Americans and this whole "Africa" thing is weird.

I should be sad living in a 40 year old mobile but i do have an acre and a half and get to keep 6 dogs and two horses with 4 cats and a couple birds. THEY and their spirits decorate my home and land….including the hair! I actually do art myself but im not great….its mainly something creative for me and sometimes i do quite well. I am making a copy of one I did for a person who said they must have it! Since it was something special for me when i did it i wanted to keep it. She said can you copy it? No real money. Just materials and posteage and she sent me a printed t-shirt which i will cherish. Its the little things sometimes you know. Sure im jealous im not rich and successful with money to show for it but there is a different kind of richness i am able to embrace. For anybody else who is a green eyed monster like me when i see how some people live. It be nice to have it all!

if you live in the same house for a long time, you tend to accumulate some savings. consider a family that moves 4-5 times in their lifetime. In a 1m dollar house, you pay 50k to the realtors each time you move, and you pay moving costs, not to mention you get another mortgage and pay the interest too. If you stay in the same house, you literally save 200-250k just from not paying commission (if its a 1m dollar house, but realistically the houses increase in value as you move, so closer to 400-500k). interest on the new mortgages for an additional 20 years is a lot too.
