For otter babies, two moms work together to build a nest.
When the baby cries, their mom rushes to aye the baby, but this time mom has something to do before that. After she got lost, she took the baby with her to her destination. Mom who seems satisfied with the purpose while cooperating with her sister.

They're actually good pets. There's one or two species you can own though. Also you need to have a pair. They are extremely active and social so they need a mating partner. They also cuddle with humans any chance they get. If you're not willing to give them attention at least 1hr a day. You shouldn't get one. They need to interact with you.

I just can't get enough of all this love. Oysuyu and Odashi have soooo much love for each other and the babies. It is truly remarkable to witness. Those babies are so lucky to have three mothers who want to lookout and care for all of their needs. The more I learn of otter behavior the more I'm in awe of them, and of you momma-san. I think that you giving of yourself in providing the Twins's a safe shelter, food and a pool to play in is beyond just having pets. I LOVE this. Otsuyu and Odashi have basically built a den not unlike they would have in the wild. The girls don’t have mud to dig in, but they do have a ton of towels and clothes and pillowcases to pile up over them, kind of like a beaver lodge. :)

The twin sisters taking care after the twin babies toguether is so awsome, so cute! How many times a woman don't have anyone to give her even an hour, a minute, a seconde..... How many mothers are alone to take care after her babie and the others children and all the housework. The animals always giving us the best exemple of real kind of love. Sorry for the best English. After having my son I would've given anything for just one hour to myself. I remember being so overwhelmed I'd cry sometimes. Now that my son is8 I will offer my friends & family some me time once a week, especially new parents. It might only be a 2-3 hour break a week but I know just appreciated it is.
