Otters are very cuddly creatures when they are with their families, and Loutre-Maman is family--their human mom. So yes, they crave affection from her: snuggles, scritches, and pets--not just from any human but from that very special one.💗

Otters themselves can be very affectionate creatures, with each other, and they do appreciate a bit of tlc now and then from their human friends. Some really seek it out, and soak it up like a sponge. Like ... Hana (of Kotsumet), and both Aty and Ui. I think it's especially important when they are young to get loads of affection and attention, because they are, quite naturally very social creatures. ❤demlil'🐹's
